Hike the Lind Point Trails
What to Expect
Safety Advisory
There is almost no shade on the overlook spur or the final descent to the beaches — on a full-sun Caribbean afternoon, the exposed sections can feel brutal. Start early or carry more water than you think you need.
The trail surface has some loose rock and exposed roots on the descent to Solomon Beach. Flip-flops are a recipe for a twisted ankle — wear real shoes for the hike and switch to sandals at the beach.

Pro Tips
Hit this trail first thing in the morning — by mid-morning the beaches fill up with boat traffic from water taxis, but early arrivals get Solomon Beach practically to themselves.
Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a snorkel mask in your daypack. Solomon Beach has solid snorkeling right off the sand, and you'll kick yourself if you hiked down without gear.
Take the overlook spur trail on the way out, not the way in. The afternoon light hits Pillsbury Sound from the west, giving you far better photos than the flat morning light.
