Fishing Bridge RV Park
The Quick Take
Fishing Bridge RV Park is Yellowstone's odd duck -- the only campground in the park with full hookups, and the only one where you absolutely cannot pitch a tent. That's not a design choice; it's a grizzly bear mandate. The campground sits at nearly 7,800 feet right where the Yellowstone River spills out of Yellowstone Lake, which means you're trading campfire ambiance (no fires allowed here either) for one of the park's prime wildlife corridors and the convenience of water, sewer, and electric at your site. At roughly ninety dollars a night, it's the priciest option in the park by a wide margin, but for big-rig RVers who need hookups, there's literally no alternative inside park boundaries. Choose this if you want a central base with full services and you don't mind that the atmosphere skews more parking lot than pine forest.

Pro Tips
Book through Yellowstone National Park Lodges the moment reservations open -- this is the only full-hookup game in the park, and seasonal RVers snap up sites months in advance. There's no stay limit here unlike other Yellowstone campgrounds, so long-termers lock down spots early.
The Yellowstone River outlet right at your doorstep is one of the park's legendary cutthroat trout fisheries. Walk from your RV to world-class catch-and-release fishing, but check current regulations -- sections near Fishing Bridge itself are often closed to protect spawning trout.
No campfires means no firewood to haul, but bring a quality propane grill and a good camp stove. The on-site camp store carries basics and ice, and the laundry facility saves you a trip to town. Stock up on groceries at Lake Village, just a short drive south, before settling in.
